Treat yourself. A good weekend brunch is a pat on the back for a week well-done. Cereal is out; but waffles, crêpes and pancakes of the sweet and savoury kind are in. See also: shakshuka, egg and bacon congee, Tony Tan’s roti canai (best used for scooping up a spiced dhal) and Japan’s tamago gohan. And if you want to make your crumpets, bagels and Danish pastries for scratch, we’ve got you covered for a brunch that can’t be beat.
