My German colleague is very disappointed that she is unable to locate quark in Australia as this is the vital ingredient in many German cakes and slices. Do you know of a local supplier?

Quark is available at some health food stores and delicatessens, but you may find it helpful to go to a larger healthfood chain. I know my local Macro Wholefoods stocks it. In Sydney, you can also try the Wholefood House locations in Woollahra and Rosebery. It may also be worth visiting your nearest growers’ market.
