The annual Good Food and Wine show lands in Sydney on Friday 5 August, bringing with it more than 200 local and international exhibitors, prominent chefs and tasting opportunities.
Matt Moran, Gary Mehigan and Kylie Kwong along with other prominent chefs will cook live for audiences over the three day program, held in Sydney’s Olympic Park.
On the show floor, Riedel and Spiegelau are presenting a Drinks Lab to teach audienceseverything from wine and cheese pairings to techniques to achieve the perfect cocktail.
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a wine buff, impress your friends with your wine know-how at the blind tasting session on Sunday. Or, let industry expert Peter Nixon do the talking as he conducts tastings in Dan Murphy’s Discovery Zone.
Those who prefer beer can steer themselves straight to Brewer’s Lane, another Dan Murphy’s exhibition, featuring a range of craft beers from Australia and overseas.
Producers big and small will also be on show with stalls in Artisan Square, letting visitors taste test their wares.
Chat brie, blue and bocconcini in the Cheese Alley to local producers, or just enjoy your cheese of choice with friends.
The Sydney leg of the Good Food & Wine Show runs from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 August at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park. For more information or to buy tickets, check out goodfoodshow.com.au.
