Franki Hobson is the commercial content director at Are Media. Franki has more than 20 years’ experience as a women's lifestyle editor and commercial director. She began her career at Cosmopolitan magazine, rising through the ranks to become editor of the Cosmopolitan extension titles (Cosmo Bride, Cosmo Hair & Beauty, Cosmo Pregnancy), as well as editor-in-chief at Dolly magazine. She has interviewed a colourful range of personalities, from Gwen Stefani and Beyoncé to the Dolly Doctor, Australia’s top foodies (including Michelin star Tetsuya, baby food queen Annabel Karmel and king of the barbecue, Adam Roberts) and a plethora of homes and interior experts. She is passionate about women’s issues, has a weakness for homewares and frequently gets lost in an issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Franki writes across all Are Media brands, including The Australian Women’s Weekly, marie claire, ELLE, Home Beautiful, Gourmet Traveller, Better Homes and Gardens, Belle, Australian House & Garden, Inside Out, Woman’s Day, New Idea, WHO, Take 5, That’s Life and more.
