Flashcamp is just about as flashy as camping can get, and this summer the luxury full-service pop-up “hotel” is heading to Byron Bay in far northern NSW for the summer.
Located at the top end of Byron Holiday Park, Flashcamp is just five minutes from the heart of Byron Bay and some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. The spacious 5 -metre wide tents are decked out with either double or twin beds – real beds – fresh towels, Armadillo & Co rugs, solar lighting, bamboo furniture and Biology Skin toiletries. The best part? Harvest Newrybar has been tasked with a pop-up restaurant and bar and will provide breakfast daily, plus communal dinners and cocktails at night.
The campsite offers direct access to Tallows beach via a gentle amble through the bush, and bikes are available to hire on-site.

“This pop-up hotel will be an opportunity to connect with nature in a truly relaxing and comfortable camp, with hotel-style service,” says Flashcamp CEO Cameron Arnold. “You’ll be just a few minutes from the beach, and when you’re not there, you could be enjoying a Harvest cocktail, in between afternoon naps in the comfort of your tent.”
Flashcamp Byron Bay runs from 18 December 2016 – 14 January 2017. Bookings through flashcamp.com.au/byronbay
