Celebrate the festive season with Moët & Chandon

From free-flowing Champagne events to limited-edition holiday gifts.

“Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right.”

The Great Gatsby author F. Scott Fitzgerald couldn’t have been more spot on. Champagne has long been synonymous with celebrations. There’s the ceremonious uncorking, the anticipation as the fine bubbles settle in your flute, and the joyous toasting that follows. A glass (or two) is the ideal way to ring in the festive season.

This year, Moët & Chandon is taking Champagne celebrations to the next level with ‘Effervescence’ — a series of exciting events taking place in over 20 cities across the globe. And, for the second year in a row, the party kicks off in Sydney.

‘Effervescence’ takes place over three days at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, providing guests with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour. A custom-built immersive destination (only open to ticket holders) includes an architectural exterior adorned with classic gold arches, and a multi-level activation with an array of festivities and retail experiences inside.

Needless to say, there will also be plenty of Champagne. The ticket includes a Moët Mini on arrival, with free-flowing Moët & Chandon Champagne throughout the event. Guests can expect to enjoy food and Champagne pairings, live DJ sets and theatrical performances.

There are three day and evening Champagne events to choose from, including a Moët Rosé Imperial Evening, Moët Imperial Day Party, and the A Journey Through Moët experience. Explore more and buy your tickets here.

Gifts that keep on giving

To continue the merriments beyond the ‘Effervescence’ events on Sydney Harbour, the luxury brand has also launched a series of limited-edition holiday bottles and gifts — perfect for pampering the Champagne lovers in your life.

A highlight of the collection, the Holiday Season bottle is presented in the classic 75cl size and features a bespoke gold firework pattern on a white bottle. There is also a two-bottle gift pack housed in a festive box, and a beautiful set of six Mini Moët bottles with gold sippers.

These beautiful bottles are a feast for the eyes, as much as the palate, so once you’ve savoured every drop, use them as decoration. Arrange them in a vignette on your coffee table or display on open shelves to add a little bit of luxury to your home décor (alongside the newly released Moët & Chandon Golden Ornament).

Moët moments

If you’re entertaining at home this year, the best way to spoil your guests is with a glass of Champagne. When it comes to food pairings, avoid overwhelming the iconic, lemon-yellow Champagne with flavours that are too strong. Instead, opt for pull-apart tender meat, delicate fish, light green vegetables, and fresh herb garnishes, such as parsley and watercress.
