Hailing from Brisbane, Alex’s first foray into media was as a journalism intern at Style Magazine and the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, gaining digital experience across art, fashion, food, and lifestyle. As Gourmet Traveller's former editorial coordinator, Alex was across everything from product curation to shoot assistance and writing about the latest happenings on the food scene. A self-confessed shopaholic and lover of a (very) dirty Martini and an oyster or two, she is perennially looking for the chicest lunch spots and where her passport will take her next (hopefully Kyoto or Copenhagen).
